Peering with AS211350

Peering

KVM Systems will peer with network operators at internet exchanges where traffic flow meets a minimum requirement. This is done to ensure that the peering partner in question is not peering with us for no other reason than to simply appear as a peering partner without having any use for peering.

Whether a peering partner is eligible for peering will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and is not based solely off of whether they meet the peering requirements. To put it simply you cannot know whether you are eligible for peering unless you have contact us directly about it.

Peering Policy

In order to be eligible for peering the applicant in question must:

  • Have an AS (Autonomous System) number which is publicly accessible and registered with an Regional Internet Registry.
  • Maintain the records associated with their AS (Autonomous System) number at the Regional Internet Registry and make sure they are correct and up-to-date.
  • Be registered on PeeringDB with the same up-to-date and accurate contact information.

Additionally we enforce the following requirements for all peering partners:

  • Peering partners are not permitted to send traffic toward us that is not intended for a network we do not announce.
  • Peering partners must make sure that their PeeringDB & Regional Internet Registry information is up-to-date and correct.

For internet exchanges we enforce that traffic levels must reach 250Mbps 95th percentile across one week (7 days) consistently.
